About Grace

Hi, I'm Grace. This was my first blog. I started it in May 2004 because I wanted to blog about myself and read about myself. Is that narcissistic? :)

I have a bunch of other blogs that I started to put some order to my blogosphere. I tried! These blogs reflect the diverse facets of my life and are all pretty meaningful to me. Listed in order of earliest to most recent:

• wealthhealthwise.blogspot @ "Health Matters" (Jan 2008) was (and is) a record of my health problems and journey to health.
• antomologist.blogspot @ "Ants in my pants!" (July 2007) are the bug chronicles - my creepy crawly adventures with the many-legged kind. They also feature a series of articles on pests that Terminix contracted me to write. 
• frugalgurl.blogspot @ "Frugal Girl" (Feb 2009) shows how truly cheap Gracie is and reviews her money making schemes. (By the way sometimes Grace likes to refer to herself in the third person).
• gracestribulations.blogspot @ "Grace's Tri-bulations" (Feb 2009) is where I brag about all my athletic endeavours.
• racefaces.blogspot @ "Faces of Races" (March 2010) contains reports of the races I've attended, and links to photos of racers.
• graciecooks.blogspot @ "Gracie Cooks!" (Aug 2011) explores my obsession with food and feeding people healthy and not so healthy grub.
• p90xgracie.blogspot @ "P90X does Gracie!" (Jan 2012) documents my first 50 days on P90X and crows about incredible physical feats that I accomplished such as a pull up, and my first ab. Yes, I had an ab. 
• legalahlian.blogspot @ "A Legal Alien" (July 2012) is my promise to me and hubby to some day get the tale of our immigration fiasco and tribulations published.

Hmmm. Wow. That's a lot of blogs. I guess I kinda got out of control there. But I am a multi-faceted personality! And I'm not halfway done yet! 

I'm striking out on a journey toward self-employment now. I have given myself a year to write, full-time, and hope to make a living out of it. It seems lots of people fail. I'm nervous about the whole thing but I'm going to give it a good go. I hope you join me as I blog about my ups and downs, and let's see how this turns out!
